In a radio conversation between the FIA and Red Bull, the FIA was clearly trying to offer a deal and “negotiate” with the Austrian team. Now McLaren team boss Andreas Seidl has stated that he does not like that the FIA radio message is sent to everyone.

As reported by it. Motorsport, the McLaren team principal said that, in his opinion, the only reason for debate is to have the news aired.
He believes F1 will be better off if the FIA team radio isn’t broadcast.
“I think the only reason there is a debate now is because it is being aired. You have never heard these things. And I think that’s a big difference, “said the German.

He mentioned that he was never on board when the decision to broadcast the conversation between the FIA and the teams was made.

“To be honest, I was never in favor of delivering these messages because there are also things that come and go about safety, etc. that I don’t necessarily need to know all the time. That’s my opinion on it, ”said Seidl.
Seidl also responded on whether the way teams communicate with the FIA has changed since the news was released.
“I don’t think that communication has changed in principle. I would say what comes and goes is even more controlled than it used to be, because everyone knows that it is being broadcast, ”said Andreas.
