However, when asked if he could start all over again, Ricciardo didn’t hesitate, stating that he would choose something other than F1.
Now at McLaren, Ricciardo is hoping to get through the difficult period ahead as he has not been able to crack the top five in the previous races.

However, with the triple header coming up, the 31-year-old is hoping to get in line with the car and get some better results for the Woking-based team.
Daniel Ricciardo says if he had another chance he wouldn’t choose F1
On one episode of the podcast, Pardon my Take, the Australian said, “One thing about our sport and as much as I love it and obviously made a career out of it.
“If I could do it all over again, I don’t know if I would choose this sport because there are so many other variables and so much is out of your control. They know that you like to perform perfectly and that something could end for you.
“But then I think that’s what makes the high so high. If everything works and fits together and a podium place wins or is taken, that’s huge, ”concluded Ricciardo.

Will Ricciardo perform with Paul Ricard?
The Australian participates in the seventh round of the championship at the Paul Ricard. Ricciardo will be hoping to get on the grid on Sunday and to pick up some badly needed points for the Woking team.
When he first felt the track with the McLaren car in FP1 on Friday, the Australian was sixth fastest on the timesheet. In the second session of the day Ricciardo fell back to 14th place.

In the last session on Saturday, Ricciardo found himself back in tenth place in FP1. And in the high-intensity qualifying session he won in Q3 and will see the red lights from tenth on the grid.
