A rare McLaren 650S Le Mans, one of only 50 examples produced worldwide, has hit the used car market in Great Britain.
The British automaker unveiled the model to celebrate its victory in the 1995 Le Mans 24 Hours. It was built by McLaren Special Operations and of the 50 units built, 49 were painted in Sarthe Gray. This particular example is the only one painted in solar yellow.
The list of piston heads shows that the car’s paint job is inspired by the famous Harrods sponsored McLaren F1 GTR, which finished third at Le Mans. The first owner of this 650S Le Mans is a friend of the F1 GTR owner and received special permission from McLaren to have the car painted in a matching shade of yellow, which makes this 650S truly unique.

As a Le Mans variant of the McLaren 650S, the car has an MSO carbon fiber roof scoop, an enlarged carbon fiber rear diffuser, various Le Mans emblems, a carbon fiber splitter, carbon side skirts, front wheel slats and unique five-spoke light alloy wheels. The brake calipers are also painted in solar yellow.
A look inside the mid-engine super sports car reveals a combination of black leather and Alcantara. There are also the comfort seats available, various carbon fiber parts and Meridian speakers.
Like all other variants of the 650S, the car is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 that delivers 641 horsepower and 500 lb-ft (678 Nm) of torque.
The listing shows that this particular 650S Le Mans has been driven 6,100 miles (9,816 km) and is priced at £ 239,950 (~ $ 317,000).
