Someone built Batman’s tumbler from ‘The Dark Knight’ and it’s Bonkers

Everyone dreams of riding a Batmobile with Christian Bale and possibly seeing him push some bad guys off the curb. But that’s fiction. Well, not for RPM Productions. James Lucas Condon has just uploaded his experience with the Batman Tumbler from RPM Production via his YouTube channel The Stradman. While he can’t meet Batman, the Joker, or go on exciting missions, he gets something better: a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to drive a Batman tumbler.

“The car, the tank that we’re filming today, we’ve never filmed anything like this. I filmed the rarest exclusive cars in the world. From the Veneno Roadster to the McLaren F1. We’ve been to Dubai, Hong Kong, but here in the middle of nowhere, California, is probably the coolest thing we’ve ever shot, ”said Condon.

The Batman tumbler is 85 percent ready

Condon has been through a whole week. Together with Alex, alias Lambo Jesus, they picked up a Lamborghini Countach in Sacramento, bought an orange Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640 and in this video they will drive a Batman Tumbler.

“So this is kind of like the opening ride of the Batman tumbler. We are what, about eighty-five percent done, give or take? ”Asked Condon. “Yes, we’re about eighty-five percent finished. There is a ton of trim work that needs to be completed. The windshield is not in place right now. It’s attached to the roof, but uh, we only have one thing to do, but we want to test it, ”Alex replied.

RPM Productions’ Batman Tumbler is pretty detailed. It’s equipped with power windows, air conditioning, and Hummer H1 taillights. This is without a doubt the most extraordinary thing Condon has ever filmed. With a little help, Alex finally gets it out of the garage for a test drive.

The Batman Tumbler is 85 percent ready. You still have to paint it satin black to look like the tumbler. But it is fully functional and will be street legal. The RPM Production tumbler is also 2.40 m wide.

The tumbler will have a flamethrower on the back when completed

“I just couldn’t imagine driving on the freeway and watching this thing go by in the car pool lane with this man at the wheel. What! Like what And yes, this will be a flamethrower, don’t worry. It won’t be that far, but soon, ”Condon exclaimed excitedly.

Alex reveals to Condon that the Tumbler is actually very easy to drive. But unfortunately the doors don’t open and Condon has to slip through the window.

The Batman Tumbler has a whole range of controls, a battery toggle switch, initial ignition, additional cooling, air conditioning and a lot of displays. It also comes with an automatic transmission system.

Alex and Condon run a few laps down the street in the Batman Tumbler. It’s eighty-five percent complete, but it’s insanely overwhelming to see.

“I think the most amazing thing about the Tumbler is that it was built from scratch – like everything was custom made. Every single item you see on this thing is completely individual, ”revealed Condon.
