After the 14th qualifying, Vettel was aware that it would be a difficult task to get into the top 10. Plus, things keep getting worse as he grapples with traffic and punctures that hampered his entire race. With that, Deutscher ended his run of three consecutive races in the points.
Since the Red Bull Ring hosts several race weekends, Vettel will be going back to the second race this weekend. However, the German is optimistic and hopes to get back on his feet at the Austrian Grand Prix and score some points.

What did Sebastian Vettel say?
The German driver admits that the battle in midfield at the Styrian GP was extremely close and expects the same this weekend.

“While we’re driving in the same place again, there are some new challenges, such as the Pirelli tires that are one step softer. The fight in midfield was so extremely close last weekend and will be again, so every round of preparation counts. “

Sebastian Vettel had already crossed the finish line twice this season in front of the reigning champion Lewis Hamilton. In addition, the four-time world champion has also secured some drivers of the day at the Monaco and Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
Vettel is currently in P10 in the drivers’ standings, four points behind Daniel Ricciardo, who replaced him at Red Bull in 2014. The German hopes to be able to score a few more points in the championship this weekend.
