The 2020 Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix was a surreal race in which Lewis Hamilton beat Mercedes team-mate Valterri Bottas and Daniel Ricciardo finished third for Renault. For the Lance Stroll F1 team Racing Point (now Aston Martin F1), however, things did not go as planned. Not only did they lose the points, but Lance Stroll also had a disastrous pit stop as seen in the video below.
The official F1 Instagram handle was titled: “Pit stops don’t always go exactly according to plan ð ???? ® Cold brakes caught Lance Stroll at last season’s Emilia Romagna Grand Prix and caused this unfortunate collision with one of his pit crews. # ImolaGP ð ???? ®ð ???? ¹ # F1 # Formula1. “As you can see, the pit crew member had a dramatic collision when he collided with Lance Stroll’s car and then tripped as a result of the cable. Fortunately, he escaped with only minor injuries.
