Vantage GT4 & GTE look unstoppable
It’s going to be an epic weekend for Aston Martin Racing. Garage 59 has returned to defend its Pro-Am title with two examples of the Vantage GT3. Behind the wheel are Alexander West, Chris Goodwin and AMR driver Jonny Adam. The power supply is taken over by Mercedes-AMG, which has massaged its 4-liter V8. This light beast replaces the V12 Vantage GT3, but cannot replace that car’s thundering soundtrack. The closest thing to a pure racing car is the new Vantage F1 Edition.
Six cars competing for the GT4 championship want to be competitive. Since the GT4 rules tend to differ from the street legal Vantage GTE, it’s nice to see them unlinked. The purest form of Aston Martin Racing brings aerodynamic and cooling systems into high gear.
