
JEDDAH – Prince Saud Bin Abdullah Bin Jalawi, Advisor to the Governor of the Mecca Region and Acting Governor of Jeddah, attended the start of the Red Bull Racing (RBR) team’s live shows on the Jeddah Corniche Waterfront on Friday evening.
The event was also attended by Prince Khalid Bin Sultan Al Abdullah Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF), who is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Motorsport Company (SMC).
The event takes place as part of the SAMF’s preparations to organize the largest sporting and entertainment event in Saudi Arabia’s history: the “Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix”, which will take place from December 3rd to 5th, 2021 at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit is organized.
These live shows were run in collaboration with the Saudi Arabia Formula 1 Grand Prix, the Ministry of Sports represented by SAMF, and the Quality of Life program.
Prince Saud Bin Abdullah Bin Jalawi also attended a special presentation of the Saudia-sponsored Williams FW07 / 01 racing car, which won the 1979 Dutch Grand Prix and was driven by our then IndyCar Series World Champion Dario Franchitti.
Live shows included exciting live shows of the famous Red Bull Racing RB8 Formula 1 racing car, which was driven in 2012 by four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel and his former Red Bull Racing F1 team-mate Mark Webber, and the F1 drivers and constructors championship won.
In addition to motorcycle parades, the shows also included an acrobatic parachute of the world champions of this category, as well as many performances that won the satisfaction and interaction of the Jeddah Corniche visitors. – SPA
