Aston Martin Valkyrie’s first customer vehicle is complete and ready for delivery.
The Hybrid Valkyrie will be assembled at the company’s headquarters in Gaydon, Warwickshire and is described as “the first true F1 car to hit the road”.
Aston Martin CEO Tobias Moers commented: “It is an incredibly proud moment for us to complete our first hypercar. The Valkyrie program has put everyone who worked on it to the test, but commitment to the dream has produced a truly incredible car. ”

Only 150 Valkyrie coupes are made, followed by 85 open-top spiders and 25 of the AMR Pro, which is only available on the racetrack.
It takes 2,000 man-hours to hand-build a Valkyrie, and every car is tested on the circuit at Silverstone before being released.
Its handling has been refined by Red Bull Racing F1 drivers Alex Albon and Max Verstappen as well as GT racing driver Chris Goodwin – formerly chief test driver at McLaren.
Speed up to 11,100 rpm

The heart of the Walküre is a 6.5-liter V12 naturally aspirated engine, tuned by Cosworth, which turns up to 11,100 rpm.
This is supplemented by a hybrid system – including batteries from Rimac, the Croatian electric vehicle manufacturer that now belongs to Bugatti – for a total of 1,155 hp.
It takes 2.6 seconds to stand still to 100 km / h, and an F1-style KERS system enables even greater bursts of acceleration.

The aero-sculpted body keeps the Valkyrie sticking to the road or racetrack with up to 1,816 kg of downforce at top speed (217 mph, you ask). An empty weight of 1,030 kg is around 100 kg more than a Lotus Elise, supported by a carbon fiber chassis and a minimalist interior.
As for the price, expect £ 2.5m or more than £ 3m for the Spider or AMR Pro.
All production is now sold out, but would-be owners can opt for the Valhalla “Son of Valkyrie” supercar – as seen in the latest James Bond foray, No Time to Die – expected to cost £ 650,000 and due in 2024.
