Scholtz, riding for Strack Racing, claimed the victory over OrangeCat Racing’s Sean Dylan Kelly by a margin of 6.630 seconds, according to race officials.
Cameron Beaubier of Warhorse HSBK Ducati FLo4Law finished third after overcoming significant challenges. Beaubier crashed during qualifying and started the race from the seventh row but rallied to secure a podium position, according to race reports. Cameron Petersen of Wrench Motorcycles took fourth place, while Jayson Uribe of OrangeCat Racing completed the top five, officials confirmed.
The qualifying session saw multiple incidents that affected the starting grid and race lineup. PJ Jacobsen of Rahal Ducati crashed during qualifying and suffered a concussion, according to team sources. Jacobsen withdrew from the remainder of the weekend’s competition due to the injury, officials said. Beaubier’s crash in qualifying also impacted his starting position but did not prevent him from finishing on the podium.
Scholtz’s win at Road Atlanta represents a strong performance early in the 2026 MotoAmerica Superbike season.
