Supercross Returns to Cleveland for Round 14 Triple Crown Championship Event

The Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship returned to Cleveland on Saturday, April 18, 2026, with Round 14 held at Huntington Bank Field featuring the Triple Crown format for the 450SX and 250SX East classes. According to event officials, this marked the first Supercross race in Cleveland since 1995 and included daytime qualifying and main events broadcast live on NBC and Peacock.

According to official race results, Cooper Webb finished second, followed by Justin Cooper in third place. Kawasaki riders Carter Stephenson, Josh Greco, and Preston Taylor placed 13th, 14th, and 15th respectively, with Stephenson finishing 41.624 seconds behind the leader, Greco at 46.936 seconds back, and Taylor at 52.150 seconds.

Ken Roczen claimed victory in the 450SX class at the 2026 Cleveland Triple Crown round, held Saturday, April 18, at Huntington Bank Field.

The event featured the Triple Crown format for both the 450SX and 250SX East classes, a structure confirmed by Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship officials. This format involved three main races for each class, with combined results determining the overall winner. The top 18 qualifiers from each class advanced directly to the evening program, according to official qualifying records.

Qualifying took place during the daytime, starting at 9 a.m. Eastern Time on Peacock, with the main program broadcast live on NBC and Peacock beginning at 3 p.m. ET. The 250 Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) was held at 12:19 p.m., followed by the 450 LCQ at 12:29 p.m., both consisting of five minutes plus one lap, according to the official schedule provided by event organizers. The main races commenced shortly after 3 p.m., with the 250 Race #1 sighting lap from 3:01 to 3:04 p.m., and the race itself running from 3:06 to 3:18 p.m.

In the 250SX East qualifying sessions, Cole Davies posted the fastest overall time with a 45.868-second lap in Qualification 2. Seth Hammaker was second fastest at 46.046 seconds, dominating the sessions according to timing data. Axton Bennick followed with a 47.755-second lap, while Nate Thrasher improved to fourth place with a 47.380-second time in the second session. Rookie Landen Gordon secured fifth fastest with a 47.766-second lap in only his second professional outing, records show.

Qualification 1 saw Davies lead with a 46.690-second lap, closely followed by Hammaker at 46.695 seconds. Bennick was third fastest at 47.475 seconds, with Cot Schock and Jackson rounding out the top five in that session. The 18th fastest qualifier was Neese at 49.167 seconds, narrowly edging out Bryton Carroll, who posted a 49.187-second lap and just missed direct advancement to the evening program. The Last Chance Qualifier races allowed riders who did not qualify directly to compete for remaining spots; Izaih Clark won the 250 LCQ, with Marshal Weltin and Kyle Peters finishing second and third respectively. Peters was noted as the holeshot winner in that race, according to timing and scoring officials.

Event organizers opened doors at 8 a.m. local time, with bikes hitting the track starting at 8:30 a.m. The official track walk was held Friday evening at 4 p.m., providing riders and teams the opportunity to inspect the course ahead of race day. Opening ceremonies took place at 2:30 p.m., shortly before the main racing program began.

This was the first Supercross race in Cleveland since 1995, according to event officials. The venue, Huntington Bank Field, located at 100 Alfred Lerner Way in Cleveland, Ohio, hosted the competition. The daytime scheduling of qualifying and main events was designed to maximize live broadcast coverage, with NBC Sports and Peacock providing comprehensive coverage. NBC aired the main program live at 3 p.m. ET, while Peacock streamed qualifying and all race action starting at 9 a.m. ET. An encore presentation was scheduled for Sunday at 2 p.m. ET, according to broadcast schedules.
