What will Nico Rosberg’s net worth if the F1 champion wins the Extreme E title?

What will Nico Rosberg's net worth if the F1 champion wins the Extreme E title?

Nico Rosberg is now also the champion team owner after his Extreme-E team won the title in the final, but what is the fortune of the 2016 Formula 1 world champion?

Nico Rosberg is just one of two drivers who beat Lewis Hamilton as a teammate during an entire Formula 1 season.

The first was Jenson Button at McLaren in 2011 when Hamilton suffered an off-season for the first time.

Five years later, Rosberg was the only teammate to date to beat Hamilton in Abu Dhabi at the World Cup.

The German beat Hamilton by five points and promptly retired from Formula 1 a few days after winning Hamilton’s title.

Since then he has been involved in sustainability work, including taking part in the most recent COP26 climate conference in Glasgow.

Rosberg also runs Rosberg X Racing in the Extreme E-Series and won the first championship on December 19th.

But what is Nico Rosberg’s net worth and how does it compare to Hamilton?

Nico Rosberg’s fortune announced

2005 GP2 Champion Rosberg made his F1 debut at the 2006 Bahrain Grand Prix for Williams, setting the fastest lap of the race.

In 2010 he joined the returning Mercedes team as a partner of Michael Schumacher.

He won his first race at the 2012 Chinese Grand Prix before Hamilton joined his old karting friend in 2013.

Mercedes exceeded the new rules for turbo hybrid engines in 2014 and drove the two to the world title.

Hamilton won in 2014 and 2015 before Rosberg won his only crown in 2016.

During his racing career and subsequent entrepreneurial career, Rosberg has built a net worth of approximately $ 50 million.

That equates to around £ 37.7 million at current exchange rates.

Hamilton’s net worth is approximately £ 215 million.

Who is Rosberg’s wife Vivian?

During his F1 career, Rosberg started 206 Grand Prix and won 23 of them.

His last win was the 2016 Japanese Grand Prix, where he overtook Hamilton by just 0.013 seconds.

He later attributed this to giving up cycling during the summer break and losing leg muscles.

Rosberg also spoke about the selfishness he had to show in 2016, citing his young family as an example.

He described how he didn’t get up at night to look after his newborn daughter when Ms. Vivian took charge while he was chasing the world title.

When he won the title, he said he was unwilling to enforce his family all over again and resigned.

He and Vivian, an interior designer, married in July 2014 – a week before Rosberg won his home Grand Prix at the Nürburgring.

They have two daughters, Alaia and Naila, who were born in 2015 and 2017, respectively.
