He has led the team to an unprecedented eight consecutive world titles in Formula 1, but what is Toto Wolff’s net worth? Does he own any part of Mercedes?
Wolff has been in Formula 1 since the early 2010s – when he was working with the Williams team.
He was there when the team won the Spanish Grand Prix in 2012, the last win for the team during the lifetime of the recently deceased founder Sir Frank Williams.
In 2013, Wolff moved to Mercedes and focused on the business side of the company, allowing Paddy Lowe to lead the technical side with Ross Brawn as overall responsibility.
Brawn went in late 2013, just before Mercedes started smashing the competition.
In the past eight years the team has won seven drivers ‘titles, eight constructors’ titles and 111 victories.

Toto Wolff’s net worth announced
Wolff, born in Austria in 1972, is an ex-racing driver himself. He started in the junior single-seaters in Austria before switching to GT sports car racing.
He won his class at the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring in 1994 and achieved several class wins in sports car races until he retired.
He first entered the F1 world as a shareholder in Williams and became the team’s general manager in 2012.
His move to Mercedes has further developed his role.
Wolff, who is 1.96 m tall, now heads Mercedes as team principal and CEO and takes care of their Formula E program.

In his career, Wolff has amassed around $ 580 million in net worth – or £ 438 million at current exchange rates.
That’s nearly £ 215 million from double star driver Lewis Hamilton.
It also floods the net worth of rival team boss Christian Horner – which is believed to be around $ 50 million.
Does Wolff own Mercedes?
In contrast to Horner, who does not own any part of Red Bull Racing, but is only an employee, Wolff owns the Mercedes F1 team – or at least part of it.
The team characteristic of the eight-time world champion is divided into three types.
Wolff owns 33.33%, as does Daimler – the ultimate parent company of Mercedes-Benz itself.
The final owner of the team is Ineos.
Ineos, a petrochemical company, was founded by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, one of Britain’s richest men – valued at about £ 13 billion at the last count.
Ineos’ branding started appearing on Mercedes F1 cars ahead of the 2020 season.
