It’s no secret that Red Bull and Mercedes are arch-rivals, the battle for the title will be close. During qualifying on Saturday in Zandvoort, the Raging Bulls complained to the FIA that the Silver Arrows had kept their tire covers longer.

However, Mercedes had previously complained to the FIA about it. Team advisor Dr. Helmut Marko an amazing answer after qualifying.

During the qualifying session at Zandvoort, Mercedes warmed up the tires of Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas. Red Bull has taken note of this and has complained to the FIA.
Jonathan Wheatley, Sporting Director at Red Bull, said: “The two Mercedes are doing what we were warned about.”

After the qualifying session, Marko said to Sky Deutschland: “People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.”

Verstappen tops the timesheet while Perez is making no impact
The team from Milton-Keynes and its Dutch driver are happy about the pole position for the race on Sunday. However, they are disappointed that Sergio Perez will be eliminated in the first round.
The team knows that it will take both Verstappen and Perez to score maximum points at the Dutch Grand Prix if they are to take the lead from Mercedes in the title race.

There is currently a gap of 7 points between the two title contenders. Red Bull knows full well that the Silver Arrows will do everything in their power to maintain the lead. But after winning at Spa last weekend, the team led by Horner believes they can do the same this weekend.
