“Mr. Wolff can wear the overall in Istanbul at the weekend” – Helmut Marko cheekily suggests to Toto Wolff that he support rival Red Bull at the Turkish Grand Prix this weekend.
An old photo of Mercedes boss Toto Wolff in the colors of arch-rival Red Bull, which Dr. Helmut Marko is enthusiastic. He says he has nothing to do with the picture, but cheekily suggests Wolff to come to the Turkish GP this weekend in Istanbul in a Red Bull outfit.
“I hope it’s not a recent photo. But seriously, I have no idea how it came about. In any case, I have nothing to do with it.
“Mr. Wolff can also wear the overalls on the weekend in Istanbul.”
As it turned out, Wolff competed in endurance races and in 2006 won the Dubai 24-hour race wearing the Red Bull colors.

Toto Wolff leads “aggressive” Mercedes in the remaining races
Mercedes and Red Bull are fighting an incredibly close battle in both the constructors ‘and the drivers’ standings. As the season finishes, Wolff is ready to get aggressive and give everything to assert his dominance over the sport.
“This season keeps us all busy and we enjoy it a lot, but it also means we have to be aggressive with our approach to the season in order to maximize the points available.
“That is our focus for Turkey and beyond. I know Lewis, Valtteri [Bottas] and the whole team are hot for the upcoming fight and we will see another exciting race this weekend in Istanbul Park, where there are still many unknowns for us due to the track surface and the weather conditions in 2020.
“It’s an exciting track layout and good for racing so I think we’ll see another spectacular turn in this brilliant F1 season.”
