It was undoubtedly one of the best battles in the Jeddah race besides the Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc one in the front. Even the Haas F1 team went up to their Twitter and shared the photos of their battle against Silver Arrows to appreciate it. The American constructors captioned, “We were absolutely loving these battles yesterday.”

Soon after Haas dropped this tweet, Mercedes didn’t wait much longer and replied to the post. The German constructors also applauded the Haas F1 for their tough competition. Mercedes replied, “Hard but fair racing out there.” The American F1 again replied to the Brackley base to tease them more. The Haas team replied, “You love to see it!”
Can Haas continue this tough fight?
The American constructor had the worst results in their history last season, finishing at the bottom with 0 points. Last season, Kannapolis base got two F1 rookies, Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin, onboard but the young blood didn’t help much. So, they entered the 2022 season with the hopes of not repeating the result of last season.

But before the season could start, Haas had to terminate their association with title sponsors Uralkali and driver Nikita Mazepin because of the tension between Russia and Ukraine. Soon, Haas F1 got their former driver Kevin Magnussen to fill the vacant seat of Mazepin. Further, the Haas F1 is using the Ferrari power unit again for this season and it has proven to be phenomenal for the VF-22. As Ferrari are dominating this season, Haas is also giving tough competition in the midfield.
