The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was an intense race between Hamilton and Verstappen. The Dutchman got help from his Mexican teammate when Checo tried to assist Hamilton so Verstappen could regain the lead in the race.
The Mexican showed such a great defense that it was praised by the entire Formula 1 community. Even Max was impressed and appropriately titled Checo in a recent video that looked back on the race.
Horner read a message on the wall that read, “Checo’s best defense ever,” which made him and Max smile. Verstappen soon replied: “He is now Secretary of Defense.” In response, Horner laughed and said, “Yes, exactly.”

After Hamilton overtook Perez, it seemed only a matter of time before he took the win. With only a few laps to go, Max’s hopes for the title faded until Nicholas Latifi crashed and brought out a safety car. Later, a controversial FIA decision saw both title contenders side by side in the final laps of the race.
