The FTX crypto exchange has announced a long-term partnership with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team. The new partnership adds the FTX logo to Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas’ cars and uniforms over several racing seasons.

The logos will be unveiled at the upcoming Russian Grand Prix on Sunday, September 26th. According to the press release, the branding will be expanded further during the 2022 season.
FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried said that FTX is excited to partner with the reigning Formula 1 champions team and that it will help strengthen FTX as the leading crypto exchange.
“FTX is pleased to work with the reigning Formula 1 world champions and current team leaders Mercedes-AMG Petronas to further expand our position as the leading global cryptocurrency exchange,” said Bankman-Fried.
He added that under the leadership of the team’s CEO and Principal, Toto Wolff, there has been a focus on excellence and innovation which has led to success.

In addition to the drivers and F1 cars, the FTX brand will now be featured on the fleet of Mercedes cars and trucks that are required to load equipment at every race, as well as in the garage and on logo displays along the track. FTX will now have access to both Hamilton and Bottas for various marketing initiatives.
FTX will also integrate FTX Pay into the team and facilitate NFT collections so that the Mercedes F1 team can participate in the NFT trend.
Toto Wolff said this is an exciting partnership with them too and will help them find new ways to connect with the fans.
