A competitive and mixed list with a lot of the younger drivers. Although the list does not leave room for future additions, driver changes, etc.; The combination of Mercedes, Red Bull, McLaren and Ferrari drivers is a good place to start.

There was also debate with Verstappen. Even if he beats Hamilton this season; Fans believe Norris, Leclerc and Russell will prevent him from getting numbers above 5.

The view of the commonality of zero titles between Daniel Ricciardo and Carlos Sainz was gloomy. However, Honey Badger fans soon stepped out to give their driver at least one title before potentially retiring within 10 years. Likewise, the Chilli fans jumped in to support their driver; Many argued that the Sainz also had at least one title for its name.

Why does nobody say Carlos Sainz? I mean, everyone is saying what a talent Charles is, but Sainz beat him on points in his first season with Ferrari, while Charles is on the team for his third season. Why does nobody give him enough credit?

When fans gave their opinion on Matt’s top 7 predictions, others looked for the rest of the grid.

Some predicted a freshman would take the title. Names like Theo Pourchaire and Oscar Piastri were some names in the comments. Yet ten years is a long time; Anything is possible in Formula 1.

Analyze predictions

The list is tricky. With Hamilton and Verstappen, it remains uncertain who will win the championship in 2021. The way things are this season could go either way. However, should Hamilton win this season, it is unlikely to go beyond the eighth title.

Looking at Hamilton, who won 7 titles in 14 years, Verstappen is likely to hit four-five in the next ten years. Verstappen will dominate the next decade and stay in competition all along. With drivers like Russell, Leclerc and Norris, however, it is doubtful that his streak will last long.

When George Russell adapts to the Mercedes and Hamilton eventually retires; Russell will be the perfect candidate to advance the Mercedes name in the battle for the championship. However, he will face stiff competition from Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc who were on their way to the top with their respective teams.

What remains disappointing is that Daniel Ricciardo, Carlos Sainz and even Pierre Gasly may not win the championship trophy. At 31, the chances are that Ricciardo will win a title by 2030. Both Ricciardo and Sainz have the talent for the title but the chances will slip away from the two drivers. Gasly could stand a chance if he gets the prestigious Red Bull seat.
