Proud moment for Toto Wolff

The Austrian has a lot of experience in managing high-performance culture. He made it to the top after starting from scratch. So this honor comes as no surprise.

He is overwhelmed by this possibility and wants to do his best to help. “To become an Associate Fellow at an institution as renowned as Oxford Saïd is a proud moment for me,” said Wolff.

“Sharing my experiences with students full of energy and motivation is very rewarding and I am grateful for the opportunity to combine my passions for entrepreneurship, leadership and high-performance culture in class at Saïd.”

The Austrian worked closely with management professor Michael Smits last year. He was seen in episode 4 of the lecture series “Leadership in Extraordinary Times”. The topic he addressed was “Driven: How to Fuel Success through Adversity”, moderated by Smits. The discussion mainly focused on how sport has changed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

With a new set of rules, it felt like a whole different ball game. Adjusting to the new time is key and the episode was about that.

Wolff has also provided important insights into topics related to mental health and the dynamics of managing high-powered talent. He also discussed the challenges of reinventing organizations and industries for the future.
