Zak continued, “He’s young, he’s 21, so let’s see where his career is taking him. Right now, keep him laser focused on IndyCar, he only leads the championship by one point, and historically IndyCar comes up with about three, four or five drivers to win until the final race so I want him to stay laser focused there .

“But I’m very impressed with him and let’s see how he does in the Abu Dhabi test and then moves on.”

Zak Brown is very impressed with Patricio O’Wards win in Detroit and compared it to former McLaren driver Juan Pablo Montoya. Juan Pablo was an IndyCar champion before entering Formula 1.

“That was a great ride, he is a huge talent. I think he’s naturally gifted. He can hang the car like Montoya saw on ovals, which doesn’t seem to scare him. He reminds me a lot of a young Juan Pablo Montoya, ”said Brown.
