M.cLaren has announced the death of the former owner Mansour Ojjehwho died peacefully in his home in Switzerland at the age of 68.
Ojjeh was active in the formula 1 Team until June 2020 and was with us for the long term McLaren, contribute significantly to their success.
The French entrepreneur born in Saudi Arabia was celebrated by McLaren and is widely recognized as a central figure in its history.
“Mansour has been burned into the heart and soul of this team for nearly 40 years and has been an integral part of its success,” said Zak Brown, McLaren CEO.
“He was a real racing driver in every way. Extremely competitive, determined, passionate and above all perhaps his characteristic trait: athletic.
“Mansour was a titan of our sport, but humble, humble and disarming about everything he encountered.”
