
It is incredible how much time, effort and sacrifice it takes to be a Formula 1 driver. F1 is one of the very few sports that is entirely global in nature. With a calendar that takes place on 5 continents, the drivers usually stay away from home or, to put it better, in “normal life”.

During the very narrow time window between the end of one season and the beginning of the next, which is barely 2 months, the drivers either stay at home or fly to a holiday destination.
And right now, this is the holiday season, a time when motorists recharge their batteries and relax, and after a year trying to be the fastest, they try to slow down. This is something they will need considering the racing calendar we have in store for 2022.

So let’s take a look at where some of the F1 drivers are currently in this off-season.
Where are the Formula 1 drivers on vacation?
McLaren star Lando Norris seems to be in Dubai as its social media activities suggest.
And Aston Martin drivers Sebastian Vettel, spent his New Year’s skiing on the Arlberg. While another veteran Fernando Alonso spent his New Year’s Eve in Spain, which tells us his latest cycling story.
The Ferrari duo, which will be title contenders for the next season, spend their holidays in very different ways.
While Sainz is at home with his family, Leclerc spends his vacation with his girlfriend and friends in Mexico. Indeed, Red Bull drivers Sergio Perez even commented on Leclerc’s latest Instagram post “Best place in the world!”
As for the other Red Bull driver and the current F1 world champion, Max VerstappenHe spends his well-deserved break with his girlfriend Kelly Piquet in Miami. He was also spotted at a Miami nightclub with Mexican boxer Canelo Alvarez.

Another F1 driver in the US is the Alpha Tauri captain. Pierre Gasly, who recently posted a story about Madison Square Garden on his Instagram.
Former Mercedes and current Alfa Romeo driver, Valtteri Bottas greeted the New Year before anyone else when he was on Sydney Harbor, Australia.
