The most powerful BMW M engine was not found in a BMW

The hardcore version of the super sedan is equipped with the well-known 4.4-liter twin turbo V-8. The power is now 627 hp – 10 more than before. The torque stays the same at 750 Nm (553 pound-feet). The increase in performance may be small, but The M5 CS offers a faster time of 2.9 seconds to 97 km / h. The speed of 200 km / h (0 to 124 mph) occurs in 10.4 seconds and the top speed is electronically limited to 305 km / h (190 mph).

The BMW M5 CS is lighter than the “normal” M5. US cars lost 104 kg in weight, while European cars were 32 kg lighter.
