Ranking of the most expensive cars CR Forza Horizon 5

Forza Horizon 5 has over 500 cars to drive, which sets it apart from any other game in the arcade racing genre. While the game is full of exotic vehicles and more hypercars than you know what to do, there are also a good amount of classic cars to buy. The best is not cheap, of course.

In fact, the classic racing drivers are among the most expensive cars in the entire game. It takes a few million CR to get behind the wheel of these cars so make sure you’re charged before you even think about pulling the trigger on one of these beautiful vehicles.

While it certainly isn’t as cheap as some of the cars you might find in Forza Horizon 4, the Ferrari 288 GTO is quite affordable for a classic exotic. This iconic color of Rosso Corsa simply comes to the fore on this cult classic car from the 1980s.

Equipped with a twin-turbo V8 engine, the Ferrari 288 GTO can accelerate from 0 to 100 mph in 5.0 seconds and reach a top speed of just over 203 mph. If you want one of the most expensive cars in Forza Horizon 5 but don’t have the money for the most expensive of them all, the Ferrari 288 GTO is the right choice.

Jaguar is arguably the UK’s most influential automobile manufacturer and has built many incredible vehicles over the years. One of his largest machines was the E-Type. Based on the very successful D-Type racing car, the light E-Type drives exceptionally well.

The Lightweight E-Type has a naturally aspirated I6 engine with 340 hp and a torque of 314 lb-ft. That may not sound like much, but this is a light vehicle so it has a 0-60 mph time of just over 4 seconds. You can’t go wrong with the Jaguar Lightweight E-Type in Forza Horizon 5.

The Ford GT40 MK II is one of the best racing cars of all time as it famously ended Ferrari’s dominance in LeMans. The GT40 MK II is a solid all-round car that is great for free roaming (Forza Horizon 4 also offered some excellent free roaming picks).

The MK II is equipped with a naturally aspirated V8 engine that gives it such a beautiful sound when driving through a tunnel. This echo is the stuff of dreams for a car lover. The GT40 MK II may cost a lot of CR, but the thrill of driving is well worth the money.

1970 Porsche # 3 917 LH: 15 million CR

The Porsche 917 LH is a LeMans classic, but it broke way too often to be successful. Fortunately, reliability is not an issue in Forza Horizon 5, so you can enjoy the 917 LH to the fullest in-game.

With a unique naturally aspirated F12 engine delivering 601 hp and 415 lb-ft of torque, the Porsche 917 LH is an absolute speed demon. It has a top speed of just over 220 mph and a 0-60 mph time of 2.4 seconds. That makes the 917 LH one of the best sprint racing cars in the game.

1997 McLaren F1 GT: 15 million CR

The McLaren F1 is the original hypercar and the GT variant is one of the rarest vehicles in the world. Very few were produced by McLaren, so consider yourself lucky to be able to drive one in Forza Horizon 5.

With exceptional handling and aerodynamics, the McLaren F1 GT makes good use of this naturally aspirated V12. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 226 mph. The McLaren F1 GT is a great circuit racer, but it will cost you a pretty penny.

1939 Auto Union Type D: 15 million CR

B (675) RWD 8.4 4.2 4.5 3.4 2.7 4.2

If you’re into old-school racing cars, you’ll love the Auto Union Type D. For those unfamiliar with Auto Union, the manufacturer is Audi’s predecessor. Funnily enough, the car was developed by the founder of Porsche, so it has a pretty confusing legacy.

When you put a twin-screw supercharged V12 engine on a small chassis like the Type D, you get a car that can reach a top speed of just over 228 mph. With some tuning, this car can become one of the fastest cars in the game.

1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa: 16.4 million CR

B (691) RWD 6.3 4.4 4.5 4.2 2.9 4.5

The Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa was built for LeMans and won the race three times in four years. One of these classic racers sold for $ 12 million in real life (according to CNN Money in 2009), and it will cost you even more to get one virtually in CR.

The 250 Testa Rossa has a naturally aspirated V12 engine developing 300 horsepower and 223 lb-ft of torque. It’s capable of going from 0-60 mph in just over 6 seconds and can reach a top speed of 172 mph. While that’s not particularly impressive, keep in mind that the Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa is over 60 years old. It’s a racing icon.

1957 Ferrari 250 California: 18.5 million CR

C (564) RWD 5.4 4.0 3.4 2.3 2.8 5.7

The 250 California is one of the most famous Ferrari vehicles of all time. As well as being fast on the track, this car is comfortable and luxurious. It is perhaps one of the greatest grand tourers ever built.

The Ferrari 250 California’s naturally aspirated V12 only produces 262 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque, but you’re unlikely to buy this car to win races anyway. They buy it to ride the top down along iconic routes and enjoy the beautiful scenery the way it should be used.

2
1956 Jaguar D-Type: 22 million CR

B (630) RWD 5.6 3.8 3.8 2.6 2.8 4.4

There may not be a car as rare and beautiful as the Jaguar D-Type. It is the pinnacle of engineering from the 1950s and retains its legendary status to this day. The thing about legendary vehicles is that they are very expensive, and the D-Type is no exception.

The D-Type has a naturally aspirated I6 engine that produces 245 horsepower and 242 lb-ft of torque, which means it can reach a top speed of around 155 mph and accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds. The Jaguar D-Type is a must have for every Forza Horizon 5 gamer.

1965 Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe: 30 million CR

B (637) RWD 6.7 3.9 3.7 2.9 2.8 4.7

The Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe has to be one of the coolest cars in racing game history. Not only is it one of the best sounding vehicles of all time, it’s also one of the most beautiful. It has the classic 1960s American racing car design and the iconic Shelby blue with white stripes.

The Cobra Daytona Coupe has a naturally aspirated V8 that can produce 390 hp, a really small engine. It may only have a top speed of just over 183 mph, but it’s a true design masterpiece. The Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe is as perfect as a car can get, and its price tag (the highest in the game) reflects that.
