
Daniel Ricciardo is known for his personality off and on the track. The Australian is always cracking jokes and banter wherever he goes. He bragged about his time in F1 at the most recent Belgian GP – his 200th Grand Prix in F1.

With the race delayed again, McLaren urged its driver to follow the procedure when the race resumed. Ricciardo had done it several times and reminded the Woking team that he had been on the grid for a while.

Daniel Ricciardo reminds McLaren of his time in Formula 1
The Belgian GP had several delays due to the rain. So the Papaya team advised the Australian driver to follow the steps to be prepared for the restart. The 32-year-old reminded his team that he had done it multiple times and this race was a big deal.
He said on team radio: “Yes, yes, I turned it off when the engine was off. If you want me to turn it on and off, I can. If you see something wrong … Yeah, yeah, I don’t know if you know that about me, but it’s my 200th Grand Prix. “
“Did it a couple of times. Yes, this forest neck is a big deal, ”concluded Ricciardo.

How did Ricciardo’s race go?
The Australian took off after the summer break in Spa. He had reached his best qualifying position in fourth on the timesheet and was poised to get a good result for McLaren.

Due to the conditions in Belgium, however, the race was only two laps behind the safety car and was later canceled. Ricciardo was disappointed, but with fourth place he had just achieved his best result for the team.

The 32-year-old is looking forward to the Dutch Grand Prix in a week’s time and is aiming for an even better result for the team from Woking.
