F1 star Lando Norris has been ruthlessly ridiculed by his own PR manager for playing golf in his spare time. Since the McLaren ace spends his weekend time driving as fast as possible, he seems to prefer a much slower hobby when not on the track.
A popular character before he was in Formula One, Norris has built an army of fanatical supporters online.
This legion of supporters has been reinforced by his online games – the young Brit has a channel on the streaming service Twitch that has more than a million followers.
But it seems golf has become one of his favorite ways to blow off some steam after recently sharing a series of snaps showing him with a club in hand.
However, his PR manager and girlfriend Charlotte Sefton doesn’t appear to be a fan of the sport and has mocked the racer for participating.
“You went from a gamer to a retired old man in three months,” she joked in response to one of the racer’s posts on golf.

Poulter wrote on social media: “Great afternoon golf with @landonorris & @zbrownceo Nothing beats a good drive. The next time it’s on your track, let’s get the cars out. “
Brown also posted on Instagram thanking the seven Ryder Cup veteran for his wisdom.
And Poulter was especially exuberant in praising Norris’ talent on the pitch.
“It’s a pleasure to see 12 months of hard work paying off. The desire to be great outside of Formula One is impressive. It won’t be long before you are doing as well as you are on the track,” he said in response to one of the racer’s social media posts.
