Inside the 2022 Hot Wheels E Case, Corvette Super Treasure Hunt Looks Great

Have you ever experienced the joy of a Kinder Surprise Egg? After you’ve eaten the chocolate, you can see the toy inside. Opening a Hot Wheels case is a similar experience, minus the chocolate part. But when you think about it, you have to multiply that kid-egg feeling by 72. Because you get 72 1/64 scale diecast cars in any case. Not all of them will be great, but they will still be very fun to free.

Of course, there is a whole debate about the next step. Most serious collectors only get the cars out of the suitcase, not out of their bladder. In this way, their value remains intact over time. But let’s not get into that now, just see what Case E has in store for us. If you want to buy the whole suitcase, keep an eye out for the Corvette C8 Super Treasure Hunt and the Drafnator Treasure Hunt!

If you want to pick Hot Wheels one at a time, remember what you are looking for when shopping. When you open the box there is a selection of fantasy cars, including the Wheelie Chair, which has been around since 2019. We’ve also seen the blue Mazda RX-7 before, so no surprise. The yellow Honda S2000 is a great addition to the case, even if this line-up is now almost 11 years old.

The Lolux Fantasy Truck is new for 2022. Does that remind you of the Toyota Hilux in any way? We’ve already seen “Mad” Mike Whiddett posting photos of his son’s Hot Wheels replica of his son’s Mazda MX-5. Lincoln’s rotary drift car can now be seen in Case E from 2022, and it’s a shame no exhaust notice is built into the diecast. The ’69 Chevy Pick-up Truck is a reworked version of the 2002 collectible and now part of the Hot Wheels Art Cars series.

The Draftnator truck was designed by the late Ryu Asada and looks like it’s pretty good at high speed left turns. It also appears that Mattel is bringing out the Bone Shaker for 2022 as well. And how could they not? This has been one of their most popular and original designs since 2006. It’s so popular that it is close to its 100th release since its debut!

The 1970 Chevelle SS Wagon is also back after a two-year hiatus. But the car that feels most exciting of this whole case has to be the all-new LB Super Silhouette Nissan Silvia S15. If this doesn’t seem ridiculous enough at first, you might be shocked to hear that it’s a replica of a real vehicle. And this car just has a 4-rotor engine inside, which makes it a real drift monster!

A Hot Wheels case just wouldn’t feel natural without a supercar. The Aston Martin Valhalla Concept is new to the mainline series and is sure to be sought after by collectors of all ages. If this is not good enough for you, you simply have to look for the black McLaren F1 that is included in the case. The Corvette C8 presented here is not the STH version, but you have to look further if you want to find it yourself!
