Fans solve McLaren F1 Heist as Lando Norris Loots Imola Trophy

McLaren has had a very successful year so far. Lando Norris has brought several trophies with him, and let’s not forget the immense success in Monza for the whole team. When the team set up their cabinet at the MTC, F1 fans noticed that something was missing. As it turns out, Norris may be looking for embezzlement.

McLaren went to Twitter to introduce their newly arranged “Cabinet 2021”. On closer inspection, Norris’ Imola trophy seems to be left out. Since it was the first of many podium places for Lando in 2021, the driver was happy about the trophy and had held it tight. Mocking the missing trophy, Twitter joked about the possibility that Norris might have kept his trophy.

The main suspect remained the 21-year-old. When Mclaren fans called Norris to bring the cutlery home, the allegations were hilarious. If this was a planned heist, maybe next time Lando should remember to hide his excitement!

While some tried to convince Lando to bring the trophy back, others wanted to put another trophy in the closet; the one Norris got for defeating Ricciardo at table tennis! While that deserves a trophy, Ricciardo’s tweet remains iconic enough. Maybe Norris can get the team to frame it.

Some things are not hidden from McLaren fans. While the Norris fandom searched for the Imola trophy, others recalled Ricciardo’s emotional moment with Senna’s trophy. Ricciardo initially placed his McLaren trophy next to his hero’s Adelaide trophy. Now postponed, fans wondered if it would return to its original case.

McLaren fans discover another flaw in the case

Apparently the fans are not too happy with the small case in the MTC. Sure that the team will receive many more trophies in the next 7 races, the fans urged the team to make room for more. With the spectacular shape of the McLaren machine this season, papaya fans want more.

In addition, the second half of the season was orange with Ricciardo’s breakthrough victory, the 1: 2 finish and Norris’ spectacular leadership. Now, with 7 laps left to go, fans are expecting nothing less from the Woking team.

With McLaren re-establishing itself as a strong force on the grid, the general opinion is correct that the podiums are not over for this team. While we wait for Norris to return his stolen trophy, McLaren can make way for more.
