Additionally, the Woking-based outfit told the boy that Lando Norris and Ricciardo were with them and that they condone bullying overall.

After hearing the boy was bullied at school and his favorite papaya destroyed. Ricciardo decided to step in and send the young fan a strong message and even send him some team goodies to keep him smiling again.
I’m sorry to hear this, but don’t stress yourself, buddy. Makes you look tough! Bullies are the weak, don’t forget that. I’ll sort you out with a new hat and some other goodies. Stay awake little homie

The Woking based outfit was quite shocked when their young fan went through this traumatic situation. Hence, they went to Twitter to send their love and support for the child and together with Norris and Ricciardo they will take care of him.
McLaren wrote: “To all of the lovely and wonderful fans out there who supported this strong young man, we just want you guys to know Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo we have it covered “

It’s not the first time McLaren has celebrated Young Fan Day
As early as 2019, a young fan made a replica of the then MCL34, completely out of cardboard. The Woking based outfit was overwhelmed with joy and decided to invite him to McLaren HQ.
The team wrote: “We couldn’t help but admire the structure, the paintwork and of course the passion of the driver behind the wheel.”
