Daniel Ricciardo, the new McLaren driver, is preparing for the upcoming race in Portugal. The Australian continues to claim to be better than his last performance in Imola.
The 31-year-old Australian had a tough weekend in Italy finishing P6 while teammate Lando Norris finished third. Ricciardo was ahead of Norris last season but can’t keep up with the young Brit in 2021.
Ricciardo had claimed that he was not satisfied with the MCL35M and he is slowly adapting to the Woking stables. As a result, the Australian will soon reach the full potential of his ride in 2021. He continues to claim to do better in the next race.
The honey badger reported In a recent interview he said, “I left Imola a little flat. I still knew there was still a lot to do, so I want to leave Portugal and feel like I have ticked a few more boxes. “
Daniel Ricciardo will get stronger in a few more races
The 31-year-old moved to the English team after two years at Renault F1. However, Ricciardo left the French designer when the Enstone stables failed to deliver on their promise.
The honey badger still can’t shine in the orange car. Even in the first season of 2019 with Renault, he did not win a single race, but showed brilliant driving behavior in the second season. So he could soon reach the pace with his teammate Norris in the current F1 season.
However, if Ricciardo is out this season, he will also have two more seasons to prove his worth. Ricciardo is in 7th place in the 2021 drivers’ standings with 14 points, while Norris is in third place with 27 points.
For @DanielRicciardo this weekend’s #PortugueseGP is an opportunity to show what he’s capable of.
