Bring A Trailer Features Limited Series 2020 McLaren Senna GTR

Only 75 copies of the McLaren Senna GTR were made and this 2020 McLaren Senna GTR was # 28. When the track-exclusive McLaren Senna GTR made its debut in 2018, McLaren themselves claimed it was the fastest non-Formula 1 car they had at the time.

The specimen is equipped with the MonoCage III carbon fiber monocoque platform and has a dry weight of 2,619 lbs., That is 22 lbs. lighter compared to the roadworthy senna. In comparison, the Senna GTR has a 3-inch wider front track and a 2.7-inch wider rear track. It also features active aerodynamics, a rear spoiler with a drag reduction system and a revised front splitter and rear diffuser. The GTR can produce 2,205 pounds of downforce at 155 mph, 442 pounds more than the street version.

The example received a McLaren Special Operations finish valued at $ 23,525, with the body panels given a factory installed MSO Gulf paint job inspired by the McLaren F1 GTR that competed in the 1997 24 Hours of Le Mans, that was another $ 40,000 option. Features of the example include a roof scoop, polycarbonate windshield and windows, front and side air intakes, an anti-collision system with reversing cameras and radar. It is also equipped with pneumatic air jacks.

The example has a newly installed 286/650 Pirelli P Zero tire in the front and 325/705 in the rear, which was not fitted until May 2021. It is coordinated with the 19-inch Centerlock wheels in a matt dark graphite finish. The sale comes with a set of orange colored 19 inch centerlock wheels with a staggered width.

The suspension of the Senna GTR is similar to that of the 720S GT3 racing car with double wishbones on all four corners and four-way adjustable Öhlins dampers and adjustable stabilizers. It is also equipped with stability control, traction control and anti-lock braking system, which it shares with the roadworthy Senna. For the braking system, there is a revised brake booster and six- and four-piston aluminum monobloc calipers on carbon-ceramic rotors.

When the two-hinge V-doors are opened, the carbon racing seats with black Alcantara cover and the GTR trademark appear. This Senna GTR has a passenger seat, both seats being equipped with six-point seat belts. There is also the integrated roll cage, the fire extinguishing system, the pit-to-car radio and the air conditioning.

The multifunction steering yoke with rocker switches sits in front of an LCD data logger with integrated switch lights. The example has a mileage of only 600 kilometers (approx. 400 miles).

The driver’s door sill has a badge showing the car as # 28 of 75 examples made.

Under the hood, a 4.0-liter V8 engine with twin turbocharging works, which is similar to the roadworthy Senna. It has a factory output of 814 horsepower at 7,250 rpm with a torque of 590 lb-ft at 5,500 rpm in the GTR spec. A seven-speed dual clutch automatic transmission supplies the power to the rear wheels of the example.

The Carfax reports the maintenance service carried out on the example from January 2020 to December 2021. It shows neither accidents nor damage.

At the time of writing, the 2020 McLaren Senna GTR has a bid of $ 1,300,000, with bidding ending on January 2, 2022.
