“Would rather see more double headings”

"Would rather see more double headings"

Like last year, there are a couple of triple headers on the agenda in Formula 1 this year. Last weekend, the first was completed, which resulted in three wins for Max Verstappen. It’s tough business for anyone working for an F1 team, and most of those involved aren’t big fans because of the time and energy involved.

He goes on to explain why it is so difficult for all teams. “With triple headers, some people are gone a month before they come back home and have done three races that month, which is also quite stressful. I’m sure the FOM will look at that, but for now,” It is a COVID situation because one of those triple headers like this one has just been thrown in because the calendar is a moving target. “

Next triple header even harder

The Russia-Turkey-Japan Round at the end of this year will be particularly tough. At least that’s what the Haas F1 team boss thinks. “It will be more difficult. It will be much more difficult because you also change the time zone and of course get the jet lag for free. Last Monday everyone had a day off. I gave everyone a day off so that they can do something here, because it is here (Austria) is very good. But when you fly from one country to another there is nothing. Your day off is spent on the plane. “

So it’s clear the teams are hoping this will be the last season that triple headers are needed.
