The fact that Mick Schumacher reached Q2 in his Haas in qualifying in Turkey did not go unnoticed. Schumacher’s compatriot and Williams team boss Jost Capito is impressed by the driver and would love to have him on his team.
Williams praises Schumacher
In an interview with the German RTL, Capito commented on the Haas pilot: “I have to say, Mick is doing an excellent job. It’s only his first year in Formula 1, but how he handled things, how he handled the team and how he got them behind him is absolutely brilliant. “
“He’s a driver to watch out for,” Capito continued. “He’s a nice guy and he really deserves to be in a car that he can win in. I’m confident that will happen. If that were a Williams it would be even better!”

Second home race for Williams
The next race weekend will be a special one for Williams. Williams boss Dave Robson now sees the race in Texas as a second home race, as much of Williams, part of the new partnership with Dorilton Capital, is in the United States.
In the Williams preview, he says: “The US is now a second home race for us and we are excited to welcome our additional Williams family from Dorilton Capital to one of the best Grand Prix events on the calendar.”
