Will this help reverse Nikita Mazepin's F1 fortune? Haas driver meets Sadhguru

Jagadish Vasudev, known as “Sadhguru”, primarily runs a non-profit organization called the Isha Foundation in India. It is interesting, however, that the 63-year-old has always had a deep love for F1 and other similar racing series.

Amid this interest in fast cars, the Indian yogi recently met rookie Haas driver Nikita Mazepin after the dramatic race weekend in Azerbaijan. Furthermore, this isn’t necessarily the first time Sadhguru has met an F1 driver.

The Russian driver used social media to reveal his meeting with one of the most influential people in India and several other countries.

Mazepin posted a picture of himself next to Sadhguru with a caption that read. “It was an honor to welcome Sadhguru.”

It was another weekend of disappointment for Haas and their struggling driver Mazepin. The Russian ran significantly slower than his teammate Mick Schumacher.

Thanks to the timely safety car and the red flag, however, Mazepin was able to close the gap to the cars in front.

Even so, the end result didn’t seem too bad as Mazepin ended up in P14 ahead of Williams’ Nicholas Latifi and shockingly title contender Lewis Hamilton, who made a massive mistake when the race restarted.

This is a clear indication that Haas desperately needs the few extra tenths of a second to take on Williams and maybe even Alfa Romeo.

Sadhguru’s moments with racing drivers, including the F1 world champion

In 2020 Sadhguru and former world champion Nico Rosberg enjoyed an interactive session in which the former opened up about his first encounter with the German.

Sadhguru announced he was in the Ferrari paddock in Singapore in 2014, a race where Rosberg almost suffered his first DNA of the season due to a problem with the steering wheel.

In addition to Formula 1, Sadhguru met a well-known American racing driver as early as 2010. Chris Rado sat next to Sadhguru in the Toyota Scion, a car with an output of nearly 1000 hp, while the latter pushed the car to its limit by half a meter on the lap in LA

Overall, it looks like Sadhguru’s interests in Formula 1 are on an upward trend at the moment. Will the Indian therefore also show his presence in the F1 paddock on the coming race weekends? Only time can tell.
