Romain Grosjean gets his promised test from Toto Wolff. The Frenchman will be working for Mercedes during and after the Grand Prix weekend in France and can thus end his Formula 1 career with dignity.
Romain Grosjean had a long career in Formula 1. The Frenchman has not always been loved for his remarkable actions, but in recent years he has earned a lot of respect for his work for Haas. At the end of 2020, however, this partnership ended because Haas had to look for more money and thus for a different driver combination.

Mercedes gives Grosjean the chance
The Frenchman couldn’t finish the season when he crashed at the Bahrain Grand Prix with enormous consequences. The French got out of a fireball and was lucky enough to survive. Due to burns on his hands, he was unable to drive the last two races of the Formula 1 season.

Verstappen “will force it and there will only be more mistakes”
After it became clear that Grosjean would end his F1 career this way, Toto Wolff made himself felt. The Mercedes team boss promised Grosjean a test for his team so that he could end his career with dignity. This test will now take place, which means that Wolff has kept his word.
