Nikita Mazepin can’t take a break.
The 22-year-old struggled with Haas in his debut season, but achieved his personal best of the season with a 14th place at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
Mazepin, who landed ahead of Lewis Hamilton, briefly summed up the wild race in Baku when Max Verstappen and Lance Stroll were controversial, while four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel stood on the podium for the second time in 26 races.

Neither Mazepin nor compatriot Mick Schumacher have scored any points this season, and Mazepin’s father announced that his son may not score points at all due to a Russian law.
All Russian men between the ages of 18 and 27 must do one year of military service or serve a two-year prison term.
At the International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg, Dmitry Mazepin spoke about the threatening predicament of his son.
“Nikita has 23 races and they tell him to join the army,” said the older Mazepin.
“They told him he had to be present at the training camp regularly. There would be no exceptions.
“He has a race every two weeks. How does he do that? Who am I asking this question?
“And I’m not just talking about Nikita Mazepin, I’m talking about everyone: athletes and professionals in the same situation.
“The subject of education and sport is relevant.”
Dmitry Mazepin happens to be the majority shareholder of a company called Uralkali – the official title partner of the Haas F1 team.
Nikita Mazepin was firmly ingrained in the bad books of F1 fans before the 2021 season even started when a video surfaced of the Russian trying to touch a woman’s chest uninvited.
Following an internal investigation, Haas announced in December that Mazepin would continue to drive for the team.
He experienced a few rookie moments on the track.
In his very first F1 race at the Bahrain Grand Prix in March, Mazepin was nicknamed “Mazespin” after falling on lap three on turn three.
The Russian will try to collect his first F1 points at the upcoming French Grand Prix, which will take place on June 20th at the Circuit Paul Ricard.
