Zak Brown believes IMS deserves an expansion of Formula 1 and suggests partnering with COTA (Indy Star)

“I gave my opinion (to Stefano Domenicali) that Indianapolis should have one Grand Prix. I think I would like to see three Grand Prix in America, but the schedule may not be three.”

“I wouldn’t even leave Ferrari twice as often. First I realize the dream that I have been cradling since childhood and I win the title with her ‘(Il Giornale – Italian)

Charles Leclerc: “I wouldn’t even leave Ferrari for double (the money). First, I’ll realize the dream I’ve had since childhood and then I’ll win the title with them.”

Katherine Legge: “It doesn’t matter – whether you are male or female, black or white” (WEC Talk)

“Everyone used to wonder if girls were strong enough to drive F1 or ChampCar. And I’ll tell you what, the ChampCar was the hardest car to drive back then (2006). They had no power steering. The setback was in Das Rad ridiculous just to hang on to that thing and all it was was brutal. I went to the gym two or three times a day to prepare for it. When I first tested it at Sebring, I got six laps and I mean, I could do six laps. That was it. I can try and run flat on new tires at speed because that thing was ridiculous. So I scraped my butt off to be fit and strong enough and the fact to underline that women are … it’s repetitive strength so it’s a lot easier for us than if it were downright strength. I think I would call it impossible. But I think I put that argument in bed brought because I’m after the race would get out of the car in two and a half hours and some of the guys wouldn’t actually get out of the car if they were exhausted. “

I think it’s Michelin who is worried about side loads here, especially on the new, tight chicane (at – yes, I know – at the pit entrance there is a very sharp turn to the right and then to the left, back to the straight one introduced straight line). The rest of the route is also faster than normal.
