Haas F1 team boss Günther Steiner has developed into an extremely popular figure with the fans, primarily because of the Drive to Survive series. Many viewers quickly found out that Steiner cursed so much that a sailor could blush. Still, it made him even more popular with fans.
Steiner recently celebrated his 56th birthday and his former driver Kevin Magnussen was one of the many well-wishers. Of course, the Dane had to be cheeky and reflect Steiner’s cursing personality. He commented on the team’s Instagram post: “Have a nice day, Günther!” Obviously, the team appreciated the humor and had a good laugh.
Magnussen has been part of the Haas F1 stable since 2017 when he was hired as a partner by Romain Grosjean. Since then, until their last year together in 2020, the duo had several ups and downs. Unfortunately, the American team decided to let her go at the end of the season and created a brand new rookie line-up.
How was life for Kevin Magnussen after Haas F1?
After splitting up with Haas F1, Magnussen took part in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in 2021. This year he signed a contract with the Cadillac Chip Ganassi Racing Team. He also drives alongside Renger van de Zande and IndyCar champion Scott Dixon.

His former Haas F1 team-mate Romain Grosjean is now also driving in the USA. However, it will compete in the 2021 IndyCar series, although it will not be racing on oval tracks. For the 2021 season, he and Haas reserve driver Piettro Fittipaldi share the driving duties for Dale Coyne Racing.
It is also worth mentioning that Fittipaldi will take over the wheel of car number 51 on the oval tracks. Grosjean is also a partner with Ed Jones, although he still has an unconfirmed teammate. After all, Haas F1 itself is using Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin for the 2021 Formula 1 season.
