The reigning NASCAR champion Kyle Larson could be seen as a spectator at the F1 race in Abu Dhabi on Sunday. He even got the chance to meet and interact with a few F1 stars. In another context, Haas F1 driver Nikita Mazepin tested positive for COVID-19 and had to skip the race. When the news broke, many fans begged Haas to use Larson.

Obviously, the Haas F1 team Larson could not ropes because Mazepin had already qualified for the race. That didn’t stop fans from speculating on how well he would do in an F1 car, however. It didn’t help when the Hendrick Motorsports driver was spotted in the Haas F1 garage.

To be honest, it wouldn’t be that far-fetched to see the Asian-American driver in a Formula 1 car. This is because he is an extremely versatile driver and is known for his heroics in various racing arenas. In fact, he’s won races in NASCAR, dirt, sports cars and even the Daytona 24 Hours.
How would Kyle Larson do in Formula 1?
A fan wrote on Twitter: “Not just admitting that Larson would be as good as Max and the greatest F1 driver of all time. But his pedigree and results certainly make the debate serious. It would be so fun to see him in a good F1 car to see what he can do. “

Kyle Larson is a different breed and has the potential to stand out in any racing series. In all honesty, no one can deny that F1 drivers are the best in the world. Formula 1 is the premier league of racing, but very few drivers can try to diversify and excel elsewhere. Rare examples are Mario Andretti, John Surtees, and more.
