Helmut Marko has confirmed that Red Bull Racing’s RB18 is roughly ten kilograms ‘overweight’, but expects the team to manage to solve that problem within a few weeks. Moreover, Red Bull may gain an unexpected advantage in the second half of 2022.

Possible advantage for Red Bull in second half of 2022
Another possible advantage for Red Bull Racing may occur after July 1st. Should Ferrari still lead the standings at that time, the limits on the number of hours allowed in the wind tunnel will be adjusted.
Whereas Red Bull is allowed to spend 60 hours in the wind tunnel in the first half of 2022, that number is 64 for Ferrari. If the current position remains the same, the hours for Ferrari will be pushed back to 56, while Red Bull will go to 64.
