Prancing Horses showed another solid performance in qualifying at Paul Ricard. With Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc who qualify on P5 and P7 respectively. Ferrari seemed poised to take home a good score and extend its lead over rival McLaren in the contractor rankings.
But it turns out to be a disastrous Sunday for Ferrari as both drivers struggle with tire wear. As a result, the Ferrari duo took 12th and 16th place and slipped into 4th place in the constructors’ championship, 16 points behind McLaren.
