Red Bull Racing is one of the most successful and renowned teams in F1. Max Verstappen and Red Bull, together have taken the F1 world by storm in 2022 and are raring to go for more. As the Milton-Keynes-based team has shown everyone a new face of domination, the team principal Christian Horner explained how competitive Red Bull can be.

In a recently published report by Forbes, Horner said, “We’ve always stuck by the principles that we’re a race team, here to go racing. We’re not afraid, sometimes, to take difficult and bold decisions.” Red Bull were struck with Cost Cap issues nearing the end of the season. However, their performance on track was kept intact.

“We’re not a corporately driven organization. We’ve always been independent and a little maverick. We’ve been non-conformist at times. We’re a challenging brand and a challenging team that embodies itself in everything we do and how we go racing,” further stated the 49-year-old executive.
The Milton-Keynes-based team picked up a total of 17 wins out of 22 races. While Sergio Perez picked up two wins, his teammate Max Verstappen clinched a staggering 15 wins to set a record for the most number of wins in a single season.
Red Bull Racing’s 2022 F1 season, a flashback
After losing out the constructors’ championship to Mercedes by 28 points last year, the team from Austria made a massive comeback this year. For the first time since 2013, they’ve managed to clinch both the driver’s as well as constructors’ titles.

The Bulls, however, started the year on a back foot. As they suffered multiple DNFs in the initial races, while Ferrari sped ahead. But when F1 moved to Imola in April, there was no stopping the Milton-Keynes-based outfit from that point forward.
From Imola, Red Bull picked up back-to-back wins until Canada. In the next two races, in Great Britain and Austria, Ferrari again got some much-needed victories. However, as the circus reached France, Red Bull started dominating and never looked back. The Austrian team won nine out of nine times before the Mercedes master class in Brazil.
