The Ferrari driver reveals the craziest thing that has happened to him so far
Charles Leclerc stated that joining Ferrari is the craziest thing that has happened to him so far.
“It’s probably the craziest thing to go to Ferrari,” said Charles.
But when his teammate Sainz mentioned whether the Monza podium is the craziest, Leclerc replied:
“True. Yes, it was pretty crazy, but on the other hand it would not have been possible without Ferrari drivers. But both belong together.”

“Today I put all my heart and soul into it. In terms of my personal performance, I would rate this as one of my top drives since joining Formula 1, so I’m really excited about my race, ”said Leclerc.

“Every lap was like a qualifying lap and I used every opportunity to fight for positions and had fun driving. We were pretty vulnerable on the main straight, that made the race difficult for us, ”said the Ferrari driver.

“Of course we want more than fourth place, but considering all things, I think we can be satisfied with this result today. If you look at where we were last year, we’ve made a big step forward.
“This is thanks to the work of everyone on our team, and I think we should be proud of and acknowledge it,” concluded Charles.

The 2019 Monza win remains the last win for Leclerc. But he kept his performance at the highest level and has grown into one of the best drivers in the field.
