Aston Martin’s Sebastian Vettel was disqualified from the Hungarian Grand Prix after securing second place at the Hungaroring. The FIA excluded the Germans after the stewards could only get 0.3 liters of fuel from his Aston Martin AMR21. And according to the regulations, drivers must remove at least one liter of fuel from their car at all times during the event.

The disqualification of the four-time world champion means that both Lewis Hamilton and Carlos Sainz will inherit second and third places.
With this, Sainz secured his second podium for his new team again this season. And while Scuderia Ferrari shared this news with its fans, it discredited Sebastian Vettel, who spent seven years for the Maranello-based team.

Ferrari disregards Sebastian Vettel
After Sainz’s second podium for the Italian team after the Monaco GP, Ferrari took to Twitter to update fans on the Spaniard’s performance. Surprisingly, the Reds didn’t even bother to give their ex-driver’s name.
In the tweet shared by the team’s official Twitter account, they wrote, “Carlos Sainz was promoted to third after the runner-up was disqualified.”
In response to the Ferrari tweet, Aston Martin shared a GIF of the German that read “I’m Sebastian Vettel”.
