Vettel used to have a white helmet with the German flag stripe over it. But since joining Aston Martin early in the 2021 season, he’s been wearing a pink helmet because of one of the team’s main sponsors, BWT.

The Aston Martin driver introduces a new helmet at the Turkey GP
The four-time world champion was very active in raising his voice on environmental issues. In his latest endeavor, he is raising awareness of the noble cause of ocean conversation.
The Aston Martin Cognizant F1 team used social media to bring the new helmet design to the world.
BWT was previously the team’s title sponsor and is a company based on educating people about water. “Change the world, sip by sip.” Is the company motto, which is also on the back of the Vettel helmet. The message focused on bringing people’s attention to the CO2 emissions caused by the transport and use of single-use plastic bottles.

Vettel is very passionate about environmental issues and has often been seen in Formula 1 to do his part to make his voice heard. He was seen building an apiary and also picking up trash from the stands at Silverstone. Not to mention, he’s bikeed into the paddock on many different occasions throughout his career.
