So the ranking of the constructors championship changed after Monaco

For the first time in the current era, Red Bull Racing is bringing the championship battle to Mercedes. After Max Verstappen won in Monaco together with Sergio Perez ‘P4, Red Bull skipped Mercedes and led the table by just one point.

Hard day for Mercedes

In the first half of the race, Valtteri Bottas finished second. Mercedes met Bottas, but the Finnish driver was unable to return to the track because a tire was stuck to the car. This exacerbated Mercedes’ bad strategy for Lewis Hamilton, who lost places after the pit stops. Hamilton did the fastest lap of the race, but it wasn’t enough to keep Mercedes in the lead in the championship.
