On the way to the Monaco Grand Prix weekend, Vettel was in poor shape. Vettel had no points in the first four races of this season and hardly disrupted the top 10. It was no higher than 13th place. He’s also had a grim 2020 season in which he only scored 33 points with Ferrari.

A sensational drive from the German earned him 10 points today, which made him a relieved man. The man who drove car # 5 gave Aston Martin the highest result of the season, with the team taking 19 points away in total.
