Netflix releases trailer for the upcoming Schumacher F1 documentary

Netflix publishes trailers for the upcoming Schumacher documentary

Scheduled to be released on Netflix on September 15, Schumacher will explore Schumacher’s success in Formula 1 and life off the track with the full support of his family.

The film was announced in July, but Netflix has now released the first trailer for the documentary.

The trailer features interviews with Schumacher’s father, wife and two children, including current Haas F1 driver Mick Schumacher, who says, “When I look at him, I think, ‘That’s how I want to be.'”

The current Aston Martin F1 driver and four-time world champion Vettel is also part of the trailer who looked up to Schumacher throughout his racing career.

Schumacher marks Netflix’s latest foray into Formula 1 and motorsport, having achieved notable success with his documentary series Drive to Survive, which is currently being shot for its fourth season.

At the time of the announcement, the film was described by Schumacher’s long-time manager Sabine Kehm as a “family gift to her beloved husband and father”.

“Michael Schumacher has redefined the professional image of a racing driver and set new standards,” said Kehm.

“In his pursuit of perfection, he spared neither himself nor his team and drove them to their greatest successes. He is admired around the world for his leadership skills. He found the strength for this task and the balance at home, with his family, whom he absolutely loves, to recharge.

“In order to preserve his privacy as a source of strength, he has always consistently and consistently separated his private life from public life. This film tells of both worlds. “

Schumacher director Vanessa Nocker said Schumacher’s wife Corinna was “our greatest support” in making the film.

“She wanted to make an authentic film herself, to show Michael for who he is, with all its ups and downs, without any glossing over,” says Nocker.

“She was great and brave enough to let us do what we wanted, and that’s why we respected and kept her boundaries. A very inspiring, warm woman who made a lasting impression on us all. “
