Maximum volume! Aston Martin turns on the AMR21

Maximum volume! Aston Martin turns on the AMR21

Aston Martin’s return to Formula 1 became much more real when their 2021 challenger, the AMR21, came to life.

The legendary British sports car brand is preparing for its first Formula 1 appearance in over 60 years when it takes its place on the 2021 grid.

Lawrence Stroll’s investment in the company paved the way for his Racing Point team to be renamed Aston Martin, keeping his son Lance for 2021.

Next to him is the four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel, who was sacked by Ferrari after six seasons together. With the mix of experience and potential, Aston Martin has race victories in its sights this season under the right circumstances.

To do this, of course, they need a competitive car, and the AMR21 will be unveiled on March 3rd in a virtual event that Aston Martin is calling “Unlock The Vault”.

And while we have to wait a little longer to see the AMR21, Aston Martin let us hear it for the first time when the rear Mercedes engine started.

Driver and team face covers are now available in the official Formula 1 store!

While it was expected that the paint job of the AMR21 would reflect Aston Martin’s classic racing green, the news that BWT will remain as the team’s main sponsor has complicated things.

BWT’s distinctive pink branding made the Racing Point challengers indispensable on the grid, so it is unlikely that the Pink Panthers of Formula 1 will be a thing of the past. The official launch of the AMR21 will reveal whether or not there has been any form of compromise.

Lawrence Stroll recently increased his stake in Aston Martin, and the Canadian billionaire is open to a possible nosedive of seven-time world champion Sir Lewis Hamilton, who will no longer have a contract with Mercedes by the end of 2021.

In an interview with the PA news agency, asked if he would be interested in winning Hamilton, Stroll said, “It’s definitely tempting. Lewis in any car is great and I’m sure anyone would say yes because he’s a seven-time world champion.

“But right now I’m very focused on getting started this year.”
